Why do you think Big Tobacco wants kids to start smoking? It’s against the law for kids under the age of 18 to smoke. But tobacco companies know that cigarettes can cause people to get sick and die. If people get sick and die, Big Tobacco loses its customers. Losing customers means losing money.
